Heather Keets Wright

Heather is a creative and thought leader in the agency and branded content space, having led work for large, complex clients for over a decade. Heather graduated from Syracuse University, the Newhouse School of Public Communications. A journalist by trade, Heather started her career at Time Inc.’s Entertainment Weekly magazine before serving in various editorial roles at Seventeen, TeenPeople.com, MarthaStewart.com, and others. In 2015 she co-founded Wright Creative with her husband, documentary filmmaker Mark W. Wright. In addition to running the agency, Heather recently served as Supervising Producer for Milestone Generations, an HBOMax documentary that premiered in July 2022 about the first and only Black superhero universe.

Mark W. Wright

Co-Founder, Executive Producer

Sports have been Mark Wright’s life for as long as he can remember. Born in England and raised in Jamaica, the journalist and filmmaker is a proud alumni of Howard University who spent the lion’s share of his career (15 years) at ESPN, starting at ESPN The Magazine, moving on to ESPN Events, and rounding out at The Undefeated, where he wrote about soccer, culture, race and Historically Black Colleges and Universities. He served as writer and producer on his most meaningful project, Redemption Song, a 30 for 30 film about his beloved Howard winning a national soccer championship. Wright honed his skills as a producer on other films, including SEC Storied documentaries The Walkoff and No Experience Required. In 2015, he and his journalist wife (Heather) established Wright Creative, which consists of Wright Creative Agency, a creative and branded content firm, and Wright Creative Productions, a sports documentary and storytelling video production company.

Kelly is a creative leader with a record of reimagining and launching innovative content programs for major brands. She helped establish Money magazine’s Washington, D.C., bureau and later became a founding editor of Real Simple magazine. Kelly is committed to excellence, having led award-winning editorial teams at Martha Stewart, Restaurant Business, and more. She is a frequent speaker/moderator at foodservice industry conferences and events.

She specializes in B2B and B2B2C programs, across categories and industries, and has managed award-winning content programs, including Verizon, Walmart, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Grant Thornton, TIAA and Trane Technologies.
